Fanu loves Largo
Always on the lookout for new sounds.The Finnish artist Fanu discovered his love for the breakbeat in the mid-nineties. Since then, he has developed his skills as a live artist as well as a DJ in Drum & Bass, Downbeat, Breakbeat and Dubstep, and he is always looking for new sounds.
Fanu's remixes of works by renowned artists such as Bill Laswell, Public Enemy, Ane Brun and Giacomo now inspire a broad fan base. He has worked with world famous jazz musicians such as Nils Petter Molvaer and Graham Haynes, and his works have appeared on various international labels. As a DJ he has toured and been a man in demand around the globe. He is always on the lookout for new and unique types of sounds, soundscapes and inspiring enthusiasm creates a very own style.
On the road he will use his new Waldorf Largo, the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA, which makes him very enthusiastic in many ways. Fanu was convinced by the Waldorf-clear sound and wide tonal features of the Largo, which always gives him new inspiration and a lot of creative flexibility.
