Upon connecting the Blofeld to a USB port of my computer I hear a muted humming coming from the audio outputs.
Answer
There are several possible reasons for that:
- The power supply of your computer is out of order and needs replacing.
- The power supply or a component of your computer is generating a USB ground loop. You can fix that with a galvanic separation of the audio cables with a passive DI-Box for example.
